Azamara Club Cruises has announced that their luxury cruise ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, will undergo major enhancements in early 2016. Plans are to completely revamp the staterooms, expand the spa area, including the holistic Sanctum Spa, introduce new outdoor venues, and offer shipwide WiFi.
According to Azamara, the enhancements will be evocative of the lands, rivers, and beaches they visit and will draw their inspiration from the four elements of nature:
Earth – A muted color palette of earth tones is being incorporated throughout the ships.
Water – New spa suites will feature rain showers with ocean views, double vanities, and outdoor Jacuzzi tubs overlooking the sea.
Air – Azamara will introduce new open-air venues and experiences, including an Asian al fresco restaurant.
Fire – Guests will enjoy sunrises and sunsets at the new outdoor Pool Grill & Bar and their evenings in completely revitalized entertainment areas.
The Azamara Journey will enter dry dock in January 2016 in the Bahamas, and the Azamara Quest in April 2016 in Singapore.
