Tour Baisldon Park, a Downton Abbey setting
On this full-day pre-cruise excursion, you’ll travel by luxury coach through the idyllic English countryside, arriving at Baisldon Park for a guided tour. Baisldon Park was the setting for the “Downton Abbey” Christmas 2013 special. Following the tour, you’ll enjoy a lavish three-course lunch at The Vineyard restaurant, hosted by best-selling author Lady Fiona Carnarvon, the chatelaine of Highclere Castle, the primary setting for “Downton Abbey”.
After lunch, you’ll be treated to a book signing of Lady Carnarvon’s latest book, The New York Times best-seller “Lady Catherine and the Real Downton Abbey.”
