Regent Adds Three New Exclusive Venues On Seven Seas Explorer

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has recently announced the addition of three new exclusive venues to Seven Seas Explorer®: Chartreuse, a gourmet French specialty restaurant, a Culinary Arts Kitchen and the Meridian Lounge.

CHARTREUSE

Seven Seas Explorer Chartreuse RestaurantLocated on Deck 10, Chartreuse, a gourmet specialty French restaurant, joins Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ signature steakhouse, Prime 7, as the second of their specialty restaurants.

Featuring a classic French menu with a modern twist, the restaurant will feature dishes expertly prepared using both classic and modern techniques. The menu will include such gourmet dishes as:

Hand-cut Charolais steak tartare in a hazelnut-Dijon emulsion topped with Perlita caviar d’Aquitaine.

Roasted Cévennes rack of lamb with rosemary-mint persillade and sugar snap pea sauce.

Poached Brittany blue lobster tail glazed with caramelized lobster roe butter on a bed of Sologne white asparagus and Romanesco.

CULINARY ARTS KITCHEN

Seven Seas Explorer Culinary Arts KitchenAt the Culinary Arts Kitchen, guests will learn how to prepare a variety of dishes in an environment of the most prestigious cooking schools in France in both layout and design.

Students will cook from their own personal workstation with individualized hands-on training. Eighteen individual stations are fully equipped with top-of-the-line induction cooktops, stainless steel sinks and a comprehensive collection of additional cooking essentials.

The instruction will cover a wide array of topics including fish and shellfish preparation, perfect food and wine pairings for entertaining, and classes inspired by the destinations visited by the ship.

The Culinary Arts Kitchen is located on Deck 11 and features floor-to-ceiling windows.

MERIDIAN LOUNGE

Seven Seas Explorer Meridian LoungeMeridian Lounge, a new entertainment venue, is located on the port side of Deck 5 on Seven Seas Explorer. The lounge has taupe leather furnishings and dark wood accent tables. Features include a curved bar with an antique silver, an intimate stage for live musical performances, and a rosewood parquet dance floor.

Close to the Constellation Theater, the Meridian Lounge is an ideal location to enjoy a pre- or post-show cocktail and the stunning views from its floor-to-ceiling windows.

Seven Seas Explorer will sail the Mediterranean during its 2016 inaugural season. Voyages will crisscross the Mediterranean and visit such destinations as Barcelona, Ibiza, St. Tropez, Venice, Istanbul, Alexandria and Jerusalem.
