Celebrity unveiled the new state-of-the-art spa that will grace the Celebrity Edge – a luxurious 22,000 square foot space for guests to renew, restore, and reinvigorate.
The spa was inspired by nature and designed by world-renowned designer Kelly Hoppen. It features an awe-inspiring menu of services, including more than 124 treatments, a thermal suite and specialty treatment tables, not available on other Celebrity ships.
One Spa World, a division of Steiner Leisure, is the spa operator on Celebrity Edge.
Onboard Spa Treatments
Onboard Spa Treatments will include signature offerings such as the Ocean Spa Wave Massage, Hot Mineral Body Boost, Poultice-Powered Muscle Release, Zero Gravity Wellness Massage, Restorative Salt Stone Massage, and Thousand Flower Detox Wrap.
SEA Thermal Suite
The SEA Thermal Suite will offer eight distinctive therapeutic experiences. They include the Hammam, Salt Room, Steam Room, Rainfall Water Therapy Room, Float Room, Crystalarium, Infrared Sauna, and heated tile loungers. The SEA Thermal Suite is the next evolution of the popular Persian Garden on Celebrity’s other ships.
AquaClass guests will receive complimentary access to the SEA Thermal Suite.
Specialty Treatment Tables
The spa features several specialty treatment tables, two that are making their debut on Celebrity Edge.
Spa Wave MLW Amphibia Table – A water-filled cushion conforms to the curves of the guest’s body for the ultimate in comfort as well as customizable color therapy lighting.
WellMassage4D Table – This award-winning treatment table, a Celebrity first, uses breakthrough technology to deliver a deeper and more relaxing massage.
MLX Quartz Table – Another Celebrity first, warm crystals mold and shape around the body, releasing muscle tension and promoting a deeper state of relaxation.
Additional spa offerings include The Advanced MedSpa, another first at sea, and will offer esthetic services such as Dysport Wrinkle Treatments and Restylane® Dermal Filler Treatments. Celebrity has partnered with Kerastase, a luxury haircare brand, to introduce the first Kerastase Institute at Sea.
The fitness center will offer hot yoga, Technogym Group Cycle, Fitness on Demand virtual fitness programming, cardio boxing, Bungee Fit equipment and Peloton spinning bikes.
Celebrity Edge Maiden Season
Celebrity Edge’s unique and innovative design extends beyond the spa and can be found throughout the ship. She sets sail on her maiden voyage in December 2018 with a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise.
Celebrity Edge will continue to sail the Western and Eastern Caribbean during her inaugural season. After that, she will sail the Mediterranean with a range of seven- to 11-night sailings in 2019, departing from Barcelona and Rome.
